About Us
Treasure Valley Christians is a local group that is designed to help out in the community doing the lonely tasks that others don't want to do. We go to the nursing homes and visit the elderly that families have forgotten. We visit the sick in the hospitals to give them hope of healing and the love they long for. We go to the shelters and feed the poor and broken. We realize that spreading God's word is most effective when shared with others through pain and shortcomings. We work hard to take care of the widows and orphans not only because we are told to, but because they need the help. We long to see a different community where we live; and because of this longing we are out there making it happen.
Nursing / Retirement Homes
We visit nursing and retirement homes on a rotational basis all over the Treasure Valley. We are constantly looking for more people to go and visit those who are living in these homes. If you would like to join us in our mission to love those who need love please send us an email. We are always adding nursing and retirement homes into our rotation, so please let us know if you have one in mind.
Hospitals
The majority of hospitals do not let visitors in to visit random people, so we mainly visit by request. There are pastors who are a part of our team, so if you know someone who would specifically like to speak to a pastor we can help. If you know of someone who would benefit from a visit please send us an email. Likewise, if you would like to be a part of our ministry please let us know.
Shelters
We are on a rotational schedule with the local shelters in Boise and Nampa. We go into the shelters to serve food and spend some time with the people who are in need there.
